Trust Wallet, the official wallet of the popular cryptocurrency exchange Binance, has released a desktop client with initial support for macOS. Support for Windows and Linux will follow within a few weeks.

Trust Wallet was first released as a mobile application in November 2017 and is an open-source multi-coin cryptocurrency wallet including a decentralized application browser.
Trust Wallet is compatible with more than 20.000 Ethereum-based tokens (ERC-20 and ERC-223 tokens and ERC-721 collectibles) and around 30 different blockchain native cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC).
Binance acquired Trust Wallet in July 2018, with the guarantee that the team behind the cryptocurrency wallet would retain full development rights “while benefiting from increased synergy” with its new owner, one of the world’s top exchanges per trading volume.
Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, who explained the first and only acquisition of his company so far, later labelled the crypto wallet as the “best” in the category “on-chain mobile wallet”.
Last month, Trust Wallet unveiled a feature that allows users to trade directly from their wallet on Binance DEX, requiring desktop merchants to synchronize their mobile phones via QR code and approve all transactions manually. The new desktop client will now immediately facilitate trading on Binance DEX.
According to Trust Wallet founder Viktor Radchenko, most cryptocurrency users use Windows desktop – the PC client is likely to be released in a few weeks.
